Throughout this degree I was able to examine a lot more aspects of design, from architectural concepts, sustainable designs, to futuristic ideations, and grew to enjoy working on different types of projects. Besides my initial interest in graphic design, I also like exploring topics of socio-environmental sustainability, heritage and refurbishment. Though pursuing a master’s degree in gallery and museum studies, I would still like to be able to continue producing designs on the side in the future.
LICA 241 Design Visualization Project
The project focuses on creating appropriate visualisations to present a new app.The requirements for the app are:
• The app must be for use on a normal smartphone with a typical screen (approximately 16:9 width:height ratio).
• The app must be for use primarily when on the move (e.g. navigation, transport, in-person shopping).
LICA 343 Design Studio: Contexts
THE ARK: A temporary marketplace that transforms into a floating shelter in the case of flooding, designed for the context of Pontianak, West Kalimantan (Indonesia).
