ILEKTRA GIAKAMOZI
BSc Hons Marketing & Design
Through out the span of my degree I experimented with various forms of Design occupying areas purposes, such as Comerse, Technological Advancements, Design thinking, Ethnography, Design Visualization, Sustainability etc...
In this I show case the Processes of my engagement and Thinking behind my Produced Design Outcomes.
Because of this engagement process, I aim on using my gained knowledge and skills to follow a path into using design for comercial purposes focusing on Design Managment, Creative Advertising & Communications, Brand Identity and Brand Strategy.
My Projects
LICA 241a / 2D visualization

This is the presentation of a visualized mobile application, called DIMON (Discover Destinations), which has been created to work as an “on-the-go” historic monument guide.
DIMON, either on download or streaming mode, helps visitors travel in the ancient eras and enjoy historical venues in their original architectural and environmental form, thanks to augmented reality technology, map-tracking systems and audio-guide technology.

LICA 241b / 3D Visualization

This project showcases a set of highly targeted interventions for encouraging the return of customers to the Highstreets. More specifically, this project showcases several visualizations regarding three elements
The first element proposes a targeted design intervention to repurpose existing retail spaces. The second element suggests new means of distributing purchased goods from the high street to local customers. And the third element, recommends new means of distributing purchased goods from the high street to local customers
This report includes the research and inspiration behind the presented innervations, and it includes a reflective succinct summarizing the explanations behind the visualizations as well as areas for further improvement

This project focuses on the challenge of food production about soil health considering U.N. Sustainable Development Goals. I've explored the emerging innovation of Food 3D printing and the Theory of nanotechnology by proposing a "what if scenario" that could address food's sustainable development goals. Based on that innovation, I've produced two artifacts that highlight the protentional of that innovation to address that challenge. These include the manual of a food-3D printer and its additional "printing" package food mix. Which provides for 100% naturally produced edible materials from lab-cultivated plants grown by Nanotechnology.
LICA 342/ Design Innovation

The first Artefact is a manual of the 3D Printer that prints locally foods, which originated from Nanotechnology.
I wasn't able to produce a prototype of a 3D printer as I couldn't engineer it myself. Therefore, I created the manual as a Prob for describing my product idea to the Audience.
The intended Audience that I selected was everyday consumers that aren't familiar with Nanotech or 3D printing & food Engineering but are environmentally conscious. Therefore, I created a simple four-page manual that could be engaging by introducing them to the purpose of why using Nanotechnology for locally producing all our food needs. Since I believe it is a straightforward way of communicating my idea.

The second Artefact is a recipe package containing the mixing material produced via Nanotechnology for food printing.
I couldn't produce a Prototype of food that Nanotechnology has cultivated. Therefore, I created the food package as a Prop for describing my product idea to the Audience.
Choosing a food package is because it could include loads of information regarding covering aspects of the "what if "Scenario. Similar to the first Artefact, the intended Audience is environmentally friendly consumers. Through this package, I attempt to communicate the "what if" Scenario of using nanotechnology to produce all of our food needs locally by presenting them with edible nutritional material originating from nanotech that they can instantly create.
My idea was to construct a realistic package, to be able to communicate my Scenario.
Choosing a Vegan Tikka Masala wrap mix is 100% plant-based. Thus, its complex recipe nature proves that nutritional foods that are ethically originated can be produced locally through nanotechnology. I decided to follow the Brand Identity Visual Elements found on the first Artefact to support that.
