I'm a sculptor from the North West (England) who works from a rural farm and uses locally found objects within my sculptures. I specialise in concrete and textile materials.
I use sculpture to articulate what I cannot express via words and this focuses on the body and my internal experiences as a neurodivergent person.
Trauma Time explores the PTSD-related phenomenon of the same name. Within this experience, (parts of) the body become locked in the moment of trauma. The parts of the self that continue moving through time, therefore, detach and dissociate but are always anchored to that stagnant traumatised body.

The kneeling figure relates to Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria, a response experienced by those with ADHD. It is an intensified and visceral feeling of disgust, anxiety, and shame.

The sculpture explores the namesake phenomenon associated with ADHD. It involes the brain being overwhelmed and the body shutting off, resulting in immobility.
