Based on Chinese classical dance and Chinese Tai Chi elements, the short film "Origin" depicts the balance of "Yin" and "Yang" in traditional Chinese culture through dance, music, and composition. The short film mainly expresses the "cycle from beginning to end" in traditional Chinese culture, as well as my personal philosophy "life will eventually return to the original point". The short film adopts the "freehand brushwork" technique of Chinese landscape painting and uses simple visual symbols to express the content to the greatest extent.

This short film was produced and starred by Tian Ziming, with Huo Yache as the photographer. They are postgraduate  students of MA Film Studies in Lancaster University.
