Niamh Wynne's documentary video essay investigates 'The Evolution of Pornography and Technology' as an academic enquiry, with the film acting not only as a resource of education, but an artistic intervention into the digitisation of porn, all from the perspective of a documentary filmmaker.

The film developed alongside Wynne's dissertation research which explores the question:“Has the Introduction of Digital Technologies and Modes of Documentary Filmmaking Changed the Consumption & Production of Pornography, Resulting in New Methods of Hyper-Realism & Exploitation?”
Unlike the writing, Wynne's expository style documentary finds ways in creating new meaning in found footage to depict the new methods of digital exploitation generated as a result of the digitisation porn, such as deepfaking and increased accessibility to child pornography.
